I saw your tears
Gleaming crystal in the moonlight
Above all your dark fears
You knew you were right.
The darkness I see
Surrounds you in a sad shroud
My one fear is not for me
But that you'll never live again.
I put my arms around you
And kissed your lips gently
Yet somehow you're no longer true
You're dead to the world and me.
Wake up, my love, my heart
You alone can beak your spell
Though the tears of shining crystal hurt
I promise to always be here.
Wake up in the morning
And put on bright clothes
'Cuz you look great in black
But my heart likes to see you happy.
No more tears, darling, no more pain
Wake up and know you'll defeat the day
Crystal tears might be pretty
But I'd rather see your smile.
