I denied so long,
I thought I was believing the lie.
You became a memory,
a cherished photograph.
The longer that I mouthed the words
the more I believed
that I was over the notion.
I drowned the ideas and cursed the cure
then I learned to despise
the silence
where I could hear your laughter.
The darkness
where I could see your face,
my heart
where you still live.

Very touching

You echo my feelings.

The hardest is the war we fight with ourselves.
