Cursed

I am but one of not so many
Who have been cursed to walk alone
The love I’ve been given is a plenty
But it is not the love I desire to be shown

I have finally accepted my fate
To watch others experience loves glory
And for me there is no one that waits
Love was not written into my story

It’s not a secret to me anymore
And all know when they look upon me
That I am empty to the core
And a life of solitude is my journey

Whoever I’ve touched along the way
Soon realize I’m not their intended
It’s obvious with me they can’t stay
Some how, some way I have offended

This is the path that I was given
And I gave a futile fight to leave it
But back to it I’m always driven
So now to loneliness I will commit
