Please feel free to refer to my stories CyberLover and CyberLoverBoy as this poem was written in tandem with those stories. I have dear friends and suggestive affairs that I relish on-line. But it is ever a double-edged sword.

I am dreaming of sweetness and light-
Butterflies winging over flowers and glade.

Lying, sleepily, in a strong man’s arms-
Released and sated, and warmed through to my soul..

But the news and the Internet: my telephone lines to the world-
Are full of murder, terrorists and the kidnapping of a five year old.

No warm man, in my arms or my bed-
But lonely souls locked in their purgatories.

They reach to me, begging me, imploring, beseeching-
In their own search for joy, fulfillment, distraction.

I feed off their frustrations, and harden their cocks-
With an imagination that heats my blood and theirs.

The chats and e-mails; fantasizing, masturbating, jacking,
fingering- Oh, the excitement…

Of auto-arousal and self-orgasm-
Cheap, discreet-cheating, convenient and safe.

All of the fun, non of the risks-
To one’s heart, one’s pocketbook, to one’s soul.

But what of the simple joy-
Of brown eyes gazing into green ones
A big callused hand held by a small, soft one
A strong shoulder to rest my head upon.

What of the intimacy of two human bodies merged into one?

Thank you, please don’t just vote but please let me know what you think. Your words are my only true payment, and I desire it greatly.
