Daisies grow wild and free,
Straight and tall up to the sun they reach,
Little attention do they require,
Glorious little flowers.
Strong, resilient and lovely,
Like love they bloom and blossom,
Pure and true,
They grow with love,
Pick them by handfuls and put them in a jar,
With water they will last,
Also like love, take away the water,
Like lost affection,
They will wilt and die.
Daisies grow wild and free,
My love for you is as these precious petals,
Take away your love,
Hide your affection,
Subdue your words of passion,
Lose the kiss upon your lips,
No longer caress me,
Like the lovely Daisy,
I will wilt and die.
