Dakini

He first saw her afar,
Crowded but alone,
her glow set her apart,
a rainbow in a gray world.
Who, what was she?
He wondered.
A dakini he heard.
A what? A who?
A priestess, a goddess,
A healer of men.
Drawn to her,
as a moth to a flame.
He gazed, stared even,
shy as a new fawn.
Eyes sparkling,
as she said his name,
he was crushed,
a schoolboy, viewing a dream.
Her touch was electric,
her smile divine,
Eye to eye, deep contact,
til their bodies dissolved,
Euphoria.
Time stood still,
the world faded away,
He remains there still,
to this very day
