My heart is torn
Ripped and bloodied
The bareness of my being
Ripe for plunder and destruction

My soul cries out
Only to be silenced
Unable to grieve in the light
Forced to plea for help in obscurity

I am the illustrator of my own fate
Damned to die without dying
Compelled to live
Bound to carry on

Cruel karma
Cruel irony
Cruel destiny
Cruel self

Pretty good

You say so much with so few words
