In the music throbbing
dark,
I watched you dance,
through The heat and sparks.

The night clung to
you, and the moon
bedazzled you and I,
as you dance through my
desperation.

The music enfolded you
hid my intentions
softened my visions,
somehow
in the pulse of night
you danced into me.

The music throbbed;
you and the dance
gave voice, and
I enthralled with the
whisper, was entangled

through the darkness
you danced and spun
and danced,
you danced throw the
lust and you dance throw
the sorrows ,
and the voice that it gave
captured ,and drew me into
the heat and sparks

the night clung to you,
and the moon bedazzled,
you dance into my
intentions,
you danced into my vision,
and in the music throbbing dark
you danced into me,
and the voice that it
gave, enthralled me,
entwined me
and
The Dance, danced
Us till now.

this poem

awakened memories in me that I thought were long gone. You brought me back, to the summer of 69, when I fell in love for the first time. Thank you.
