DANCE AGAIN
Your words caress me soft and slow giving me the chills
Penetrating into my soul, forcing me to feel.
Softening my hardened heart bringing hope into the night
So enticing so exciting, your breath brought me to life.
Cutting the loneliness away and removing all the pain.
In your eyes I saw hope of things not lost, but gained.
You lifted my chin and looked deep in my eyes and asked me not frown.
Once old things are removed new things can bloom and your beauty again be found.
You took my hands into your own and together we stood tall.
You held me tightly in your arms and said i wouldn't fall.
I danced with you to a melody that I no longer hear.
Suddenly and with out a warning You just disappeared.
I searched for you in a panic, What did I do wrong?
Wishing it was you here the thought would turn me on.
I touch my self from time to time, when i think of you.
And Imagine vividly all the things you'd say and do.
But nothing yet has come close to the way you made me feel. .
The way your breath danced down my neck giving me the chills.
And i have come to accept that you will may not return.
So when you cross my mind I recall what i have learned.
I learned how to stand again And that im beautiful inside.
You taught me how to dance again, and how to stay strong and fight
And Ill watch for you in the sunrise and the shadows of the night.
Praying for you Wanting you with all my heart my soul my might.
