The Dance Begins

I see You walk in, confident, almost arrogant
You are at ease in Your surroundings
Do You see me? Can You feel the heat of my stare?

Almost instantly, i find that as we are walking
Among the Roses, those fragrant Roses
I want You, desire You, i am drawn to You.

Soon i ask, do You feel it too? You answer yes
The dance begins. A touch, a kiss, a caress.
My skin ignites under your fingertips.

We arrange a stolen day alone, yes for us alone
It is magical, passionate, and even out of control.
Yes, we crossed over into the bed of thorns.

The bed of thorns consisted of You invading my body
Every possible way You could take me, You took me
Yet, in reality i gave myself to You willingly.

There was pain, there were tears, there were marks.
You laughed, You smiled, You also held me after.
After the pain, You cleaned my wounds, cared for me.

We danced among the Roses.
We crossed over into the bed of thorns.
We can never come back, having tasted such pain.

I watch You each day. i count the days.
I will have You again. i will have You inside me.
I will taste You again. We will resume the dance.

This dance, started as a game. For You it still is

This dance, is now much more for me.

My One, i love You.

Shall we dance?
