Think you know me, you don't know me
Not the slightest, you'd better think again
Never considered you any enemy of mine
That's a luxury I'd only give a friend
See, you lost that privelege
With your ventriloquistic speaking on my behalf
Despite your dummy rhetoric from my lips
Always being well worth it for a laugh
Funny as it is being thrown overboard
To the sharks, left alone for myself to fend
Yet, I always manage to walk ashore
On my own two feet, stronger in the end
Meanwhile, you wrap it up, slap a price tag on
So damn easy to sell another brother out
Soap box opportunist always on the lookout for
Another you can railroad, drown in shout
Tell me what's it like, please do tell
Preaching to so many deafened ears
Tell me, is it frustrating as all hell
To be shunned like a leper by your peers
Maybe you'll learn your lesson some day
Perhaps we'll give it a few more years
You'd think it would have already sunk in
Like the Titanic
However, no such luck thanks to your
Post traumatic, manic depressive fears
Claustrophic, mind in a box, packaged in bubble wrap
Can't see beyond your own conflicting arguments
Like icebergs in the night, they're the trap
On collision course as usual, destined to sink
Into the oblivion of your own murky perspective
You can't leave it alone, let it die a natural death
Because you've forgotten how to sincerely live
Now you want to tangle, push your angle
By knocking me over the railing, off my feet
Steal the lifeboat, every man for himself
A Greek tragedy straight from Crete
As you sail away, sinking into the drink
Plugging every self inflicted leak that springs eternal
I'm already suntanning on the beach
Receiving kisses from every native girl
Hoowah!
I said dance, monkey, dance
Give me more of your juvenile monkey rants
Com'on and dance for me monkey
Do it really funky
Put on your bunny slippers
And your Wal-Mart shopping pajama pants
Do it really funky
Dance for me monkey
Just do it and
Dance
