Feel the rhythm, the beat, the flow
Take me to the place only you know
I can escape, staring into your eyes
Colors swirl and the heat intensifies

It is only your face I see.
Dance with me.

Perilous are the steps we take
We falter once and this will break
The music plays on, it spins so fast
Who knows how long this will last

This is our symphony.
Dance with me.

Spin for me your web of magic
And tell me—is it not tragic
That love and lust are surely parted
Once one is found, and it has started

Love and lust—I view no hypocrisy.
Dance with me.

Unknown beginnings, together we learn
The depths of passion and how hot it burns
Lost in the heat of our growing fire
My reason is conquered, ruled by desire

Stoke the flame, do not just let it be.
Dance with me.

Kiss my neck and use your hands
I will give in to your demands
Sparking shivers, voice low and smooth
We have each other and nothing to prove

Sensual restraint is a tragedy.
Dance with me.

Everything melts beyond your gaze
As we step endlessly through this maze
And though I know not where you go
As long as you lead, I will follow

Take my hand
and dance with me.

I like this

It's refreshing to read a poem with a refrain and your poem flows beautifully like a dance. Lovely x

I like how it returns to the idea of tragedy at the end, but with a new emphasis.
