Dandelion

There sat a flower naught beside that day.
In it's indigence a venture to be.
Felt estrangement from the model
reprehended and trialing to breath.

Wading the waters of exasperation
extending neck and arms to reach the sky
fearing suffocation from heavy rains
set at naught to symbolically die.

A carefree butterfly adjourns a repose
and sees the essence and reflecting light
that the flower possesses but cannot feel
while covered with rain has no insight.

With intrinsic beauty and strength to grow
the flower extends it's beautiful hands
to incredulous boundary to overcome woe
attracting a butterfly as she gently danced.

And with her came the sun to warm the sky
as she aired her wings until both were dry.
With her in his hands the world beautified
and as she tittered away naught the flower cried.
