Have you ever looked at a Dandelion,
Its one of Mother Nature's best flowers.
It can give you a drink and two things to eat,
And only one takes more than an hour!
Dandelion greens are really good to eat,
When they're young and haven't been up too long.
Some people say that they just cannot be beat,
But if they're picked too late they'll be too strong.
The yellow flowers of the Dandelion,
When fixed right they're something special to eat.
You dip them in a batter and fry them right,
And you'll have yourself a wonderful treat.
The Dandelion is great for one more thing,
Its used to make a real delicious wine.
These are three gifts Mother Nature gives to us,
From this Dandelion flower so fine!!
