young women are dangerous
for we allow them to be
with a license to thrill

their soft perfect skin
firm budding breasts
nipples pink and fresh

hourglass shaped silhouette
bellies taunt and flat
asses round and firm

bodies new and perfect
unbeaten by life
and excesses of pleasure

they may look innocent
but they know what they have
and how to use it

and we fall in line
like lemmings on the cliff
pushing each other aside

to be the next to jump
for their attention
even one second is enough

they smile at the havoc
and laugh to themselves
at our foolish nature

smug in our egos
we think they are pleased
by our sacrifices

and they float through their lives
oblivious to us
as if we don't exist

for we have disappeared with age
even though we look back
and see earlier times in them

and we think it unfair
that we are not still young
for we had so little time

with our hard firm bodies
and minds sharp and clear
the world was ours then

for we were the dangerous ones
that others jumped off cliffs for
and sought to impress
