                Dare II Dream

She came out of nowhere
I fixed her with my stare
A vision divine
I glowed knowing she was mine
For years I yearned
     So quickly she had learned
To find my other half
That we could love and laugh
My search had been long
As our souls joined in song
My patience had been tested
     A pairing never bested
But now at last
     Her eyes downcast
She gave my hopes a lift
     Her submission a gift
She allowed me to dare
     So precious and rare
My chains to lose
     Mine to use

               I dare to dream!

was she broken?

I fixed her with my stare?

Your stared fixed her?

Or do you mean that you fixed your eyes on her?

This poem reads like a bdsm hallmark.

How was your patience tested?

This would be far more interesting if you wrote about the moment she gave you the gift of submission. Tell a story. Give some details. As a reader, I can't find any meat in your poem to chew on.
