dark innocence fallen angel high
grey wasteland sheds her light to vie
with hidden heart flutter opened eyes
seeks passage clear the endless lies

to bide her memories in rapture
long forgotten vistas capture
time
to grow her wings and fly in chase her
rising laughter beckons guides

peal messengers to ring anew a day
awaken
cry the town unbound and reach for
callous hand to hold and cast her free
black dove to wheel the night sky flees

embrace the longing star that offers
shores untasted fear unfettered frees
the darkness shrouded kiss harsh light
the promise jet black sliver joy eclipsed
in bliss of night

dark innocence angel fallen sighs
in wait
