Dark Loneliness

byDu Lac©

Dark Loneliness

Words spoken,
Truths revealed,
Darkness lies,
Beneath our shields.

Lonely and hurt,
Afraid to show,
The darkness within,
Desire that grows.

Brave are the few,
To voice what they need,
Visions of self,
No longer to bleed.

No more I say,
Will I kneel and wait,
Always silent and good,
Now voicing my fate.

Rejection may come,
I tell what I need,
Banish the darkness,
Hope I do feed.

Lonely and dark,
No longer will be,
The voice from within,
Allows me to see.
