Promises of Death float through the night breeze.
Dark promises to ease the pain
The whispers gently glide past,
Dark promises for another.

Crying out
Begging
Pleading…

Take me please
Release me from this empty shell.
Release me from my hell…
Tears cascading as I beg.
Wanting only to be claimed by the darkness.

A simple answer is all I get…
“Soon”
