We gather round on this day of tanks. A Thanksgiving Day is here at last. But while all the others sit around the table with family and friends. I sit alone in the dark cold deeps of hell, sit and ponder about new evils that have been rot on the land. While every one sings, feast, and laugh. I am left alone in my darkness quietly. All I hear is the distant echo of laughter and cheer as the turkey is carved. Every one is happy on this day. Yet why do I cry. I am alone unhappy unfulfilled. The darkness consumes me and will not let the light shine through. I fear I will never see day again, and as this day draws to an end the laughter fades and every one goes home, to think about next year and what wonderful things there will be to eat. While still here I sit in the dark all alone, what was once filled with echoes of laughter and glee, is now quiet and still, and so here I sit to a wait tell next year, and another Dark Thanksgiving Day.
