Darkness descends
All around me
Loving me
I know
Incorrigible
My own heart
Betrays

Kindred souls
Offer no clemency
Were my only penance
Flesh,
Pain
I would gladly
Give it to rest
In the darkness

There are no kindred
I learn
Only kin
Tinker bell
Voices
Calling me back to
The pain,
The light
Again

This is excellent!

I like all your poems today, but this is my favorite. I especially like "there is no kindred/only kin." The short line construction works very well with this poem.
