Her breasts heave in the light of dawn
The sun falls on her pale skin
Sets her scarlet hair ablaze
I kiss her cheek
And the day goes as it came
Too early
In the light of dusk
She's still
still
I embrace her
Stroke her lips with my thumb
Feeling the light fade
She awakens
Her eyes fall on me
And a smile crosses her lips
And before the darkness swallows us
We kiss
