but, ...I think high hill is a visual element ...I have a spot I go to occasionally ...very stiring to see the earth below from a high place...(then again there is that hidden context) Something to think about Good one.
I love the last sentence- the birds explode- it does sound like that in some places. And then you WISH they would explode so you could sleep in. I'm not wild about the first sentence: high hill. I think you could have come up with something stronger - a hill is just not as compelling as birds exploding or moonpaths turning to sunroads.
