Dazed

* Not really a poem, but it came from the heart. This is to some one in particular, you know who you are. *

Aren't the best things in life the unexpected ones?
You weren't expecting it, not really ready, but there it is.
Like when you find yourself talking to someone all day, and did not even realize it.
You have so much in common it's almost scary, but exciting.
They get you in a way no one else ever has.
They know what you're thinking without you having to say it.
Your thoughts are drawn to them, and you do not understand why.
You do not know how you found them, it's like they were a magnet that drew you in.
Deep down inside a piece of you would die if they did not want to talk to you again.
You can't get them out of your head, no matter how hard you try.
All you wonder is what they are thinking or feeling.
You hope that you are imprinted in their mind, like they are you.
You wake up constantly in the night because you can't get them out of your head.
They can say one thing to make your heart skip a beat and make you blush.
They know your baggage and do not care.
They encourage you to be yourself and stop living a lie.
You find yourself fantasizing about them in ways you probably shouldn't be.
It's as easy as breathing when you're talking to them.
You hope all you feel is mutual, but you just do not know.
The best part is this is all within a couple of days.
I am sitting here dazed wondering how in a couple days you have such a powerful presence in my mind.
I only think of you once, because you never leave my mind.
