Dead Man's Watch (part 2)

bytheonlinestalker©

Tick Tock
I am the dead man's wife
Who swings on that tower
Still ticking and changing
No long dying by the hour

Tick Tock
I am alone now
Since the clock has struck twelve
Reading your note
Slowly killing myself

Tick Tock
Your time's run out
And the dead man's on TV
Surrounded by clouds
Staring at me

Tick Tock
Whispers my heart
The ticking's quieting down
For the light in my soul
Leaves nothing to be found

Tick Tock
I sit here dying
And dying I will be
When the last blade runs through my veins
And the ticking finally cease
