i feel so weak
as i lay still
with Death's grip
wrapped around me
like a lovers embrace
i am trapped in
still
to the point of paralysis
no use to struggle
can i welcome such
a lovers kiss
such as Death's
my body is leaden
the beating
pounding
of my heart
fills my head
all pain and fear
slowly subsiding
leaving me
as life is leaving
my body
ideas of
god and
demons
chase me
please Reaper of Death
have mercy on me
give me a chance
to redeem my faults
my life
this is not an empty promise
your erotic embrace
is a sacrilege
i am not bound for the
depths of hell
your dark beauty
entices me no more
you waste your time
with me tonight
there are others
who need you
want you
to visit them
to make love to them
with eternal climax
heed my pleas
your presence i will
never forget
but leave me now
in the throw's of life
i will not gamble this
chance
i will anticipate your
silent embrace
many years from now
i will not struggle then
but now let me go
he is leaving
with my life given
back to me
taking with him
my fears
along with a promise
he won't let me
forget
there will be a time
for all dues to be paid
