she kissed me
I fell apart
she picked me up and brought me home
and repaired my heart

she layed me down
just for a while
but still, she layed me down
I lost my smile

she returned to say
she'd been a fool
she'd been with another elsewhere
I kept my cool

then she kissed me
I fell apart
she tossed me outside and closed her door
and there I layed once more
in the debris of my heart
