As the wind blows,
As the snow falls,
As the cold air hits my face,
I am reminded of things
So long gone
Yet so vivid in my memories
Of you and I
When no one could figure out
Why we gaze at each other so
Longingly
When we already held each other close
I guess the've never known
A love so strong
That it never blows away in the wind
Never falls prey to bitterness
Never fades
And never dies.
So when we look at each other
It isn't with a denied longing
It is with the knowledge
That the winter snow's cold
Will never run through our joined hearts.
