Now I sit here with a decision to make
I must think long and hard cause my heart is at stake
On one hand I have you and the way you make me glow
On the other I have me and everything I know
If I choose to stay and let you go
What we could have been ill never know
If I choose to go and leave my life behind
When I get there who knows what I may find
Would you stay with me and stay true
So many have hurt me, would you do it too
I will follow you wherever you may go
And I know its not something you can just say, you have to show
Willing to leave my world behind for you
There is no limit to the things I would do
To make things work between me and you
And show you my words like my love are true
So I sit here wondering what to do
I don't think I could make a decision where I didn't choose you
If I did I might regret it forever
Knowing I made a decision other than us together
Dont have you yet and already don't want to lose you
If you left my world right now I wouldn't know what to do
If I stayed here and you went there
Would you look back, would you even care
Do I keep letting my feelings grow and letting you know
Or do I pretend I'm not falling for you and not let it show
I don't know if I could keep these feelings inside
No matter how hard I fought, or how hard I tried
Every time I see you they grow stronger
I cant hold back the words I love you much longer
Cant stop myself from falling
Cant stop my heart from calling
Your name when I miss you
Or make my lips not miss you when they cant kiss you
When I open my eyes in the morning I want to see you
And I do realize there is more than one, there is two
There is someone else, its not just you
I know where you go your son does too
I know its a package deal
But it could never change how I feel
I know he has a father and I'll respect that till the end
I'm not trying to be a father, just a friend
Thats a bond I would never try to break
And a place I would never try to take
Just letting you know I'm not just here for you
I would do anything for him too
With all that said I hope you see
That I am for real and this is me
No fronts, no games, no gimmicks
What we could be has no limits
Only endless possibilities
And I'll accept all the responsibilities
Of keeping both of you happy and taken care of
And the risks of letting myself go like this I am well aware of
If I ever lose you I want your last word to me to be hey
That was the first word you ever said to me
So like this poem I think we should end the same way
