On his kiss I soared higher than I could ever dream,
In his grasp, I gained courage to live again,
With every gasp I breathed him into my bloodstream,
But exhaled before the rush turned into sin.
If I led him to believe he was my god, well,
It was that in my eyes he was reflected.
I must remain grounded and break the spell
And my passion must go undetected.
