DELAY
Cold day, more than cold,
The dusk become night,
My wisdom cheaply sold,
I'm working late tonight.
I hate to interrupt,
Your night getting its kicks,
Volcanoes won't erupt,
By magic or by tricks.
Those tricks, too old by now, you still support,
Delay is a marvelous technique!
I walk around in this ghostly port.
Ah, is it you? Oh yes, we are ok!
My night hardly ever gets a kick,
Maybe all this is due to that delay.
