Delve deep and dark, and slither if you must,
Tongue teeth and lips ; glazed with cold mistrust.
When looking at the eyes of Babylon.
When wondering if your innocence is gone.

Press gently then look straight in to the eyes
That’s were demons , and also angels lie.
Before you ; the choices craze and grind
With eruptions ; of the body and the mind.

Choose wildly… not wisely if you think.
Your glass is overflowing with instinct.
But is it instinct ? or a clinging pride
That twitches with a tinge of compromise.

Midst the swirling whirling ecstasy of choice
Comes seduction, in the sound of a new voice.
The bane of romance… enemy of love.
But who will speak of that when it is gloved.

Gloved in heady sweat and bump and grind
Dirty danced and flaunted as a crime.
By silver tongues who smell your breath of wine
Who saddle up… get ready for the ride.

Delve deep and true within your limbo state
One bottle is much sweeter than a crate,
Just give that look that offers you are mine.
I’ll love that look until the end of time…..
