Dementia Praecox II

This slivered image
Portends;
That you,
Who've decided
To change your world,
To shatter
This rotten system;
That alienates man
From what he is,
( the master of his will )
And screws him up so bad,
That he
Can do nothing
But screw others in return;
Will yourself be shattered
Into a thousand harmless bits

This slivered image
In a fragmented mirror

YES!

I am going through the poems I have never read that are on the top list to see the ones that are well loved by others. This is one of yours I just LOVE. Has your powerful imagary along with a potent story/setting. This I love.

Incisive

"Slivered image". What a metaphor!

He says he is from Planet Earth. He does seem to be tuned into the universal soul of man.
