I can't purge the demons
From my mind,
Filling my thoughts
With images unkind.
Stoking the fires
Of my jealousy,
Driving me deeper
Towards insanity.
They rip at my soul
Tearing me apart,
Showing their lies,
Breaking my heart.
And though I lash out
They will not flee,
The force of their will
Consuming me.
So fight with me
My love, my life,
Together we shall
Overcome this strife.
Hand in hand
We can rise above,
So lend to me
Your strength, your love.
