Departing

Noise and confusion all around
Some people six feet in the ground
Are they the lucky ones
Special daughters and sons
They never had a chance
To see that that very last dance
For them goodbye was in the heart
Nothing good came from their depart.

Great Job

This too is a great poem. On target. Touches on the sense of loss you feel when those close to you are taken away too soon, and the questions you are left with.

Keep submitting them.
