Down into the depth.
Still.......I slept.

Dreaming dreams that.
Most fear to tread upon.

An unseen world.
Deep in that darkness.

Down into the depth.
Still.......I slept.

I took chances.
I lost all fear.

Quiet and persistent.
Was my mortal soul.

Down into the depth.
Still.......I slept.

still he slept

arms akimbo

for this world is his

as he dreams dumbo

fantasy turned to reality

reality to vanity

And, when you wake, will the world look the same? Or will you have been left behind?
