I walked upon the dead valley floor
Tiny skeletons of life
Crunched with every footstep of my booted feet

It was an interesting thing to see
A small woman, thin and hard
Whipcord muscles moving with grace

A belt not of bullets, but throwing knives adorned my waist
Two swords crossed my back
A plethora of finely crafted death

One eye of violet
And one of warm brown
A connection of majick and one of earth

As I stood looking into the wind
The heavy leather greatcoat that protected my back
Moved not with the wind, but as if it had its own life

I watched the one I followed
Although he knew not that I was there
I was always behind Him

From birth I had been power
And I sought someone to control it
WIth a need that bordered on obsession

I had to find the One
The soul that mine was tied to
With a gossamer thread

And in the middle of desert sand
As I had knelt, ready to die and give in
I glimpsed you in the distance

The day I knelt and was ready to give up
You shadowed and protected me
So I gave you all I was

And in return
An unbreakable circle
Was now upon me

And until the end of time
Until the universe stopped
I would follow, and be yours
