I wana ride with her at sunset when the world is growing dimmer
Feel the soft caress of autumn on my chest
Through a blanket of new daisies in the hot and sultry summer
In a field of rye grass where we'd stop to rest
Her coat as fine as velvet flecks of silver lie within
The tawny of her eyes soulful and sweet
Perfect communication with a click it all begins
Like a bolt of lighting her hooves are my feet
Taking me wild to the red in the horizon
And she carries me back home again
It's like an escape to a world once forgotten
When man's horse was his truest friend
My fingers are lost in that long flaxen mane
As we fly like the birds on their wing
I've fallen in love with her spirit untamed
Our young beating hearts hear them sing
Take me to your world little desert horse of mine
Effortless power and grace
Sweet mist filling my lungs as we race against time
The warm sunlight kisses my face
I watch our shadow in the grass at her feet
as the wild flowers brush swiftly by
And it looks like we're one how she makes me complete
My heart leaps with every stride...
