I am made of glass
I can see you watching me
Looking into me
You can see me staring back

I am made of glass
My deepest thoughts are reflected on my face
Nothing to hide
Nowhere to hide it

I am a mirror
Can you see through me
To all my hopes and dreams?
Can you see yourself in me?
How you have become a part of me?
Look a little closer

You go where I go

How easily I shatter
When I look back into your eyes
Of blue diamonds
Sapphire, Indigo, Aqua
They scratch my surface
Cutting through me
Scraping, breaking

Scarring
You leave a mark
Before I fall to pieces
Jagged, sharp, unmendable

Can you see your face
Distorted in my pile of disarray?
A sparkle, a whisper, a shadow
You’re still there
Your eyes destroyed me

But never lost their luster
