i put my heart
out on a plate
and we looked at it

it was an
ordinary heart
that beat and had some clogs

and wasn't particularly
divinatory
as far as i knew

anyway
but when you looked hungry
then i swooned

and put it back
for i am not a meal for you
i'm fattening

Perhaps you need to find someone who is not on a diet.

There are those risks, of putting oneself 'out there'.

Not quite appetizing

"i'm fattening"?

Hearty Meal

Marrinated heart and a full bodied red wine make the perfect combination. Excellent!

Fattening you may be but this is a dish to savour!
