you greet and you part with your friends
at airports around the usa
you travel again and again
till you can't tell the heads from the tails

the lady luck's traveling too
she smiled in maryland to you
smirked in reno from every die
rolled like oranges in florida

texan crowd waves the hats at the airport
sail straight for you no more escorts
no claim pass the baggage room light
the city lights offer serendipity

i'm glad you were prompted to link this

there's a sense of continual movement running throughout this, of rolling, momentum ... like the earth's diurnal round and life, it keeps right on moving and we either take the gamble and roll with it or fall off

i do, however, feel there are the odd filler-words that could happily be pared without losing the effect you've created. and it's a shame Lit messed up your formatting - was it just the double-line spacing or other issues as well?
