Feelings developed
A closeness grew
Amazement followed.
How could it be
Only words had passed
No touch had been felt
Not in the normal way.
Touching can be more
It moves through the words
Getting caught in them
Creating a gentle warmth.
Slipping into our hearts
Before we even realized
Something beautiful began
Filling our very souls.
We found each other
No longer I or me
Something more meaningful
Now it is the two of us.
