how can a girl kneel before You knowing she let You down so,
Your words biting through her heart worse than any blow,
the anger, dishonor she brought to Your face,
the image stuck in her mind unable to be replaced,
she opened her heart for You and You alone,
but selfishly still she roamed,
the beautiful flower created by You once spoke of ellegence and grace,
now lost and alone bringing You disgrace,
Your words ring in her mind over and over,
her heart sinks forever lower,
but through it all she clings desperately to hope,
perhaps You might find it in You to grant her a small thread or rope,
to You she can offer only her heart,
though she owns nothing of it You will always be a part,
her mind clashes with the savage shols of the river meeting the sea,
but in her heart Your slave forever will she be
