{I thought I would submit one of my poems while I was working on the next part of the story. Sorry it's not about sex.}

We've come to the end
I'll stand with you my friends
Tricked into this elaborate trap
Didn't catch on till we heard the snap

Too late for our heroic plans
Too late for our idealistic stands
No absolution or respite
No choice now but to stand and fight

It's not what we thought it would be
All the people clear and free
Fighting fiercely against the dark
Only to be left here stark

Lost in an endless wasteland of pain
As horrors drive us slowly insane
No one else can see our scars
They'll never free us from our bars

It tears my soul to set you free
But I won't let you follow me
I'll miss the laughter in your eyes
But I don't want your world to die
