When I'm lying next to you
Lost inside love's breath
Stripped down bare to the flesh
Face to face skin to skin
Naked without hidden defenses
Our vanities so paper thin
Vulnerable without protection
I dissolve into you

I diffuse your pain
Dissipate your damage
Make you whole again
Like when you were born
So innocent and protected
Inside your mother's arms

Our bodies delicately intertwined
Love wrapped around our thoughts
Hearts on fire 1 soul breathing as 2
Love delicately carves me into you

So painfully beautiful we are
With such a fragile love
Open left so unprotected
Too emotional we try
With hearts on skin
It bloomed so delicately
It came so unexpected
I dissolve into you

Our love stone cold blue
Oh so bitter but oh so true
Like glass cutting through
Our exposed emotional skin
That sparkles deeply within
Like stars in the evening sky

How familiar love's strange beauty
Has wrapped around our fingertips
Like breaths trapped deep inside
Our oh so silent quivering lips

How this all-encompassing love
Has tenderly touched upon
Hidden spots my emotions
Could never reach alone
How your flowing love arcs
Like an emotional fountain
Spilling over into my heart
I dissolve into you

Slowly your bare open hands
Have tenderly peeled back
Layers of emotional resistance
Exposing my loneliness within
Ripping away invisible fears
Holding back my unbound heart

They have freed me to feel
The tender ebb and flow
Of love's embryonic wave
That resides inside all

Soon on gossamer wings of hope
We'll fly, fly, fly like little birds
Inbetween whispers and words
Carry our dreams into our love
We'll fly, fly, fly like little birds
Inbetween earth and sky
Carry our love into our dreams
I dissolve into you

Love has put the lost pieces
Of the fragmented puzzle
To my life back together again
As it empties out my hands
Completely of my frozen past
Replacing it with your embrace

Together we'll slowly ascend
To the heavens above
Flying, flying, flying away
On our earthen wings

Together we'll dissolve into one

resolution

Gives new meaning to the lover's term, "I'm really into you."

~~

A wonderfully woven piece of love's power to heal and open up as your two loves meld.
