Why get so close then retreat so far apart
You left a scarring memory and a scar in my heart
I don't know what it was and may not want it to be
Do me a fucking favor and stay the fuck away from me
Distance does this, it brings back the misery
It gets harder at times as I try to hide the agony
The pain starts swelling
The anger starts dwelling
I feel like a doormat that you wanted for to use
Stepping on me and replacing me for another's abuse
You was a friend
Now it seems that Path of Friendship reached its end
I'm trying to keep my composure
The least ya can do is give me some closure
This has happened many times before
It seems to only happen more
It seems I'm punished day after day
I'm really liking it, wouldn't have it any other way
This misery you give me is the Power that pushes me through
Now I'm starting to regret the times I spoke to you
I am an asshole at times, sometimes a prick
When I'm a Gentleman and treated like this, it does make me sick
So keep your distance as I drown in pain
Spit on me like many has as I flush away down the drain
