What becomes of a heart torn asunder?
Of crackling pain infrequent booming lightning and thunder.
Sounding loudly in the void caverns,
Of vacant love?
What is it that creeps in like cancer,
Spreading to the shambles,
Filling the emptiness with acidic lassitude.
Degrading the spaces where love lived.
