Tent pitched in soft white sands
Azure curtain overhead
Perched on the rusty precipice
Cliff to unknown depths below
Multi-lavyered, multi-colored, mystery
Rocky wall across expanse
Hot northwest wind upon our skin

Azure flames red and gold
Drifting off into inky black
Blazing fire the rocky edge
To warm our tinned dinner
And your sweet toes
White stars vanish to the west
The melancholly whistle of the wind

Tent trembling n the dark howl
Birds, squawking, flittering, echoing
From the canyon below
Ensnared in sleeping bags
You clutch me tight
Our hair stands on end
Teeth begin to buzz and pulse

Eruption of light, Explosion of noise
Cascade of hot rain pelts down
Out of the tent, into the storm
Camera gripped to catch
As thunderbolts flood the canyon
Brighter than day; Black, nothing
Colors of stone blink on, off

Soaked, frightened, camera failing
Wind howling, Thunder booming
Lightning strikes, Exhilleration
One fevered glance, One passionate kiss
Four arms, Four legs, Two pairs lips
Tangle as one, collapse in soft sand
Penetrate, Lightning, Thunder, two Moans
Electricity....
