mistress kitty claws at my bark
on studded leash in Laurelhurst Park,
the same hot hand that strokes my snout
holds me back when the foam beads out;

paces me with pitch whistle,
waves and waves of white noise,
rakes my back with Hawthorne thistles
tells me she does it to all the boys...

kitty binds me with her ball of yarn,
hangs me high with haystraw in the barn,

scent of clover, and sweat, and musk
sting on skin - unspeakable sin!
out to Back 40 in pink splash of dusk
we'll make us one helluva din-- again.
