Dragon at the door

He snorts unseen
A terrible beast
Eyes of fire and teeth of steel
An impossible foe!

To face him bring death
Destruction, pain and woe
How can any one or two together
Survive such a challenge?

But…..

United as one
They have the strength of many
They fill each other’s gaps
Of sight and insight

Allowing them to inch forward
Towards those flickering shadows
Those roars unheard, but heard
Those talons unseen, but felt

At last they step into the light
And the truth is revealed
The fear was far worse than the reality they face
And they have survived

As the realisation hits
They laugh at the so-called dragons
Blend their bodies and minds
And embrace the together tomorrow

A bright tomorrow
A wonderful way
Together forever
And ever and a day

realization

"To face him bring death"

"Of sight and insight"

"Those roars unheard, but heard"

"And embrace the together tomorrow"

Perhaps you'd be better off writing in your cradle langauge, what ever it may be.
